Writer Starlee Kine designed this maple wood cutting board for slicing onions. It is also meant to help you come to terms with heartbreak, so that you can eventually move past it (however many onions later). Inscribed into the board's surface is a piece of text about a lost love. The more you use the board, the less you will be able to read the text and, as Starlee writes, "the quieter the ghosts of meals past will become." Cutting onions on the board makes using it a truly cathartic experience.

The cutting board comes with a locker poster of a crying McNulty from "The Wire" television series (illustrated by Arthur Jones) and a set of crying instructions written by Starlee.

This is a 2nd printing of what was originally THE THING Quarterly's issue 10 by Starlee Kine, which sold out long ago. While the inscribed text remains true to the original design, updates have been made to the board's material, shape, and dimensions. The crying instructions have also been updated.
