Dutch designer Hester van Eeghen (1958–2021) developed her signature bag and shoe designs with bright colors, geometric patterns, a sense of humor and an eye toward versatility. In a career spanning more than 40 years, she created more than 1,000 designs for her own fashion line, collaborated with other prestigious brands and produced countless unique pieces for charity. A World of Bags is a joyful tribute to both van Eeghen herself and her illustrious designs, inspired by everything from classical music to origami.
