20 years old Chérine Yazbeck returned from her exile right at the end of the civil war, to discover a torn, bruised, destroyed Beirut city.
Wandering around with her camera, she settled her accounts with the uncontrollable fascination the city exercises by practicing automatic photography, taking random pictures, without much reflexion.
20 years later, she digs out her negatives for a second settlement of accounts, this time with the collective amnesia of Beirut and its inhabitants…
