This print is part of a new series of prints depicting household furniture. The white chest of drawers is a woodcut taken from an ikea shelf which I carved into. The shadow part is made up of texture from a wall in the forbidden city in Beijing. Both the visual imagery used in the print, and the methods with which it was created, invite the viewer to think about ideas of home.
