My discovery of Ricardo Martínez Paz’s archives—the work of a visionary fashion stylist and chronicler of Parisian nights since the 1970s—sparked both dialogue and collaboration between us.
His unpublished work: 20,000 slides, 100 boxes of 35mm negatives, and over 1,000 Polaroids from his time in Paris. This living archive immerses us in iconic venues like the Palace, Le Rocambole, Scaramouche, and Folies Bergères, letting me relive nights shared with Boy George, Grace Jones, aristocrats, punks, and the LGBTQ+ community.
