In a former industrial complex of 5,500 sq m, once the site of the old Kanellopoulos oil press in Elefsina, Leda Papaconstantinou creates an installation based on light, image and sound. Each of the 11 spaces she uses, is autonomous yet they all work together as part of a fragmentary narrative. These spaces are scattered with litter and debris, industrial remnants and relics of time, all left intact, trailing the viewer’s course.

Following the steps of the project’s realization, the edition comprises three volumes, in a hardcover case. The first volume is a “staged” book, featuring large black-and-white photographs of the spaces, smaller colour photographs with components the artist would use (e.g. video stills) and short descriptions of the installations. It is therefore a book that illustrates both the proposal and the process by which the works would be realized. The second volume features essays on the work itself, by art critics and art historians. The third volume includes large installation shots, depicting the completed work in situ.
