Locations, New York brings together Giasco Bertoli’s photographs of cinematic sites across the city, captured in 2014, on the eve of photography’s transformation in the age of social media. Rather than recreating iconic film scenes, Bertoli explores what remains after the camera has gone: the traces, memories, and invisible presences that continue to inhabit these places. Rooted in the tradition of American street photography, the work reflects on cinema, memory, and the enduring mystery of locations that are at once immortal and elusive.

With a text by Philippe Azoury and a preface by Jeff Rian, the volume is presented in full color.
