Rising Sun Bento

The bento of only a pickled plum and rice is the simplest lunch. It is compared to the national flag symbolizing Japan, and has its name ’Rising Sun’. In this book, pickled plums and rice are cut from menu leafrets of the bento shop and are collaged as the rising sun bento. It is strange, if this still looks like the Japanese national flag, even if it becomes such collage appearance.
