"Scatti by Marco D’Anna is a project with roots that go back a long way, to a previ- ous shared experience which turned out to be somewhat intriguing: in other words, it served as a prototype for the current project.
With Marco, we then began to think about undertaking a wider-ranging adven- ture which, over time (about four years), would ultimately allow us to enhance the BancaStato art collection with a number of works including a series of portraits of ‘Ticino people’.

This testimony was to be provided in the form of snapshots – scatti in Italian, just like the title – portraying people immersed in their everyday occupations, caught up in their passions or both things at the same time."
