Showing graphic design as a place for practice and mediation of thought, including technical thinking ; showing that the printing methods and surfaces go through a thought process ; showing that the designer is able to influence the matter of the order, as that of his technical medium, beyond a simple commentary and without excluding sensitivity and sensuality. Such are the ambitions of the « Monozukuri » exhibitions – the art of making (« zukuri ») things (« mono ») – dedicated to the shaping of printed objects « Monozukuri, printing ways and surfaces ». These exhibitions follow a first installment dedicated to printing « Monozukuri, printing forms » and the catalogue La fille, le fruit, le perroquet et la piqûre à cheval.
